Aaron is a very characteristic guy with heavenly stretched tunnel on his ears. Looks a little scary? Yea maybe but actually he's very friendly and talkative. It didn't take long to find out how sweet guy he is when I met him in 2005.
I usually saw him at bars and nightclubs where Hip Hop was on, so tried to make this wallpaper with "Yo man, wassup man" flavour but don't think I've seen him dancing ever. He was always surrounded by friends and girls, busy socializing. Mr. Popular...yea, that's him.

She's pop, cute and sexy, does have everything I don't have. Kinda girlish but not too sweet.
I often saw her working at Gold Bar in Ponsonby especially after I started working at a restaurant a few doors down from the bar in late 2005. She always looked so alive behind the bar counter, so that we all could tell that she was having fun in the world she'd just stepped into. Hope she still has the smile at work and enjoys being in the industry.
Aasta! My favourite girl. She's a Visual Creator/Film Director from Norway. I met her in Auckland in 2005, and the following year, she gave me an opportunity to be in her film "Back Bone" as the mystic Asian oracle on motorcycle... that was my screen début. Everything was so new to me but very exciting, I had so much fun during the shoot.
I really love the way she laughs. Her laugh is so wild and pure, there's no fake bits. Having someone like her always makes me happy.
Ruby is the bar Jason owns in Kingsland, not too big, not too small, nice hideout feeling with friendly atmosphere, being loved by the locals and friends for the last few years since he started running the venue.
Jason is a person who has a strong image for his style. He never wears stuff doesn't suit him. He knows what suits him and what doesn't, everything around him always looks neat and stylish (except himself in mornings after work). I don't believe he drinks instant coffee or eats MacDonald's.
He's one of the funniest person I've ever met in my entire life. I met him at Sponge Bar, he was a bartender, I was a DJ. From my very first night at Sponge, he joked every 15 seconds just like a machine gun, made me laugh to death all night through.
He's left New Zealand for Dubai to be part of his family's business. I believe he's been successful on the business there, because only smart people can make well spiced jokes and definitely he's one of them.
I had known about him as a famous bartender and a regular customer of The Supper Club for a quite long time till finally knew him.
The night I got know him...no, that was almost like 9 in the morning at a bar in town... I saw a guy lying on a bench outside the bar with his eyes wide open, looking at nowhere. That looked horribly wrong and odd, I instantly believed what I was seeing was someone dead but was brave enough to walk up to it. Then I saw huge painted eyes on his eyelids...Charlie Chaplin like mustache and lips just like out of horror movies had also been drawn. His face was a canvas. Suddenly another two eyes slightly opened then I thought I heard something like "water", so I went back to the bar, grabbed a glass of water for him. While he was drinking it, the four eyes were staring at me...damn, that was one of the creepiest experiences I'd ever had.
Damien, that's how we met on the new years day of 2004. I won't be surprised if you don't remember it.
He's not only a very experienced bartender but also makes the most wonderful espresso coffees.
I met him when he was still working at Sponge Bar in Ponsonby, he got the job as a bartender soon after I started DJing there then I found out that this "born looking evil" guy has extreme memory. He memorizes exact lines from tons of movie scenes and music lyrics...
A few years after we met at Sponge, he became my boss at Habanero. A small cafe with a cosy backyard, where all Hospo workers got together after their shifts. Each single coffee he made was perfect and I was so lucky to have the very rare opportunity to work for the perfect boss.
